Mathematical Modelling

Introduction

A mathematical model is an imperfect image of the part of the world around us, in which mathematical symbolism is used to represent. The model is a simple representation of the basic laws of nature, for instance the conservation laws. In this respect it may be useful to remark that the word ‘nature’ is to be interpreted in the widest sense possible.
